“ I love that they have free parking and is right next to an Asian grocery store. Service was very friendly and helpful. We were quickly seated for lunch on the weekend. Even though it was pretty full, it's not as noisy as some other Chinese restaurants. Food was very tasty. Our favorite dish was the rice roll with fried dough. It was perfect with scallion and soy sauce. We ordered five dishes and the bill came out to about $30. Can't wait to get more dimsum from here! Note they do charge for tea and gratuity. ”

“ Great spot for authentic Chinese food with an expansive vegetarian section of the menu. We stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening. It's a massive place, set up like big dim sum restaurants are in Hong Kong. The vegetarian options attracted us to this place, as did the "morning glory" on the menu, something you generally can only find in Southeast Asia. We split three dishes to share: -Vegetarian ma po tofu (£10.50). We asked for this extra spicy, but it was only barely spicy. They don't use szechuan peppercorns in their version sadly, but it was nicely flavoured, albeit on the salty side. 4/5 -Vegetarian Singapore noodles (£12.80). Be sure to ask for no egg if you're vegan; otherwise it comes default with egg. This was a somewhat underwhelming version of this classic dish, but it was tasty enough. Overpriced for what it is. 3.5/5 -Stir fried morning glory with garlic (£13.80). Just as you find it in SE Asia -- simple but tasty "water spinach". If you've never has these greens before, the texture of the stems like green onion stems (but without the bitterness) and the leaves closer to spinach. Perfectly cooked. 5/5 They also charged us £1 for tap water, which is really lame -- that would never fly in North America. Overall, good spot for authentic Chinese food. ”

“ This place is amazing. The dim sum is pretty good and they have a wide selection to choose from. They have about 6 or 7 trolleys that are brought around and you get to choose from the four of five dishes they have on there. All the food's always hot and there seems to be freshly cooked food coming in from the kitchen fairly frequently. If you are a dim sum connoisseur you'll probably be a little miffed about the thickness of the skins of the dumplings but if you just want a quick dim sum fix then this is the place for you. My favourites: Pork bun Steamed turnip cake Pork and shrimp dumpling. Sticky rice in lotus leaf Custard bun ”

“ This is the best Chinese restaurant for DimSum, a type of Cantonese Brunch in Manchester. The push a trolley with fresh dimsum in the restaurant until 4pm, which is similar as the practice in southern china & HK. A lot of British Chinese family come here for Sunday lunch. The good thing is that they have a car park with free parking & a big Chinese supermarket downstairs. It is certainly my favourite Dimsum restaurant in town with reasonable price. Four of us ate enough food for 11 pounds each today. ”

“ Up until writing this review I was really keen to give this a four, but now after googling it to see what other people thought of it and seeing quite horrendous news on mouse feces in the kitchen I am not so sure anymore. But just let me report on what actually happened during the night, absolutely unbiased: I´ve headed over with a big group from work the other day and actually had a good time. We shared two of the big tables and ordered as group, after some recommendations and shared everything. I found food to be really nice and most of it was served at the same time, piping hot and fresh. Other than that service was quite unattentive, which didn't bother us, but if I was coming back for dinner with my family it may have been an issue. Food quality was definitely up with places like Ocean Treasure and Red Chili. The duck was extremely tender and so was the salt and pepper squid. Overall we paid just short of 13 pound each for an absolutely gorgeous meal. The decor is slightly less european, and glamorously tacky. If you like fine dining and want to take your girlfriend out, head to Ocean Treasure. If you are a Chinese family looking to host a wedding, perfect place. Sometimes you just can´t really compare restaurants to one another and in this case this place is just good at what it does. Its more than just an OK place. ”
